Our collection of high-security door locks are designed to work together. Instead of having a key per lock, our locks are paired so they only require one key regardless of how many locks you may have. This is called being 'Keyed alike'. So when you buy keys, you need to think about the number of people that will need a key, rather than the number of locks.
Pairing new locks and new keys
All locks will be installed to work with the same key, so you only ever need one key per person, no matter how many locks you have. No more heavy keyrings to carry around! So if, for example, you have a typical Nightlatch and a mortice deadlock combination, both can be opened with the same key.
Each lock or lock set comes with 2 keys. If you would like additional keys, you can add more to your basket before you checkout, or you can add keys here.
If you are buying more than one individual lock or lock set, you'll need to add the Keyed Alike Fee to your order. You can add the Keyed Alike Fee here.
Match new locks to existing keys
If you already have a Banham lock and want to add additional locks, we can match to your existing Mark III key.
To buy this online, add 'Keyed Alike Fee' to your basket, and let us know the number of the key you'd like to match. This is the number you will find on the key itself, across the wide part of the key.
If you're not sure what key you've got, check your key type here.
